  5. Professionally Machine Quilted
    If you love to team up with your favourite long-arm quilter, show us the results.
  6. Large Quilts: greater than 240 inch perimeter

  7. Hand quilted or hand appliquéd
    We admire anyone with the fortitude to hand quilt or hand applique a large quilt. Kudos and please share your masterpiece with us.
  8. Self Machine Quilted
    Don’t be shy. If you’ve gone to the effort of manipulating a large quilt under the needle of your sewing machine, you need to show it off!
  9. Professionally Machine Quilted
    For the time challenged quilter, long-arm quilting is a godsend, allowing us to enjoy a finished product instead of storing a UFO. Show us your latest creation.
  10. Innovative Quilts

  11. Mixed Media: maximum perimeter of 240 inches
    Enter the brave new world of art quilts. Show us what you’ve done with a variety of materials including but not limited to fabric, paper, foil, paint, stamps, paint sticks, lutradur, tyvek, yarn, roving, silk by-products. Be sure to list all of the interesting materials you’ve incorporated.
  12. Fabric based: maximum perimeter of 240 inches
    This category is designed for quilters who want to experiment on an innovative quilt but prefer to use fabrics rather than the items listed in Category 8.
  13. 3-Dimensional object with a quilted element
    This could be a vase or a basket, or a bird. Be creative. Please note on your entry form if a special display area will be required.
  14. Group Quilts

  15. Completed by 2 or more people: any size
    What have you and your quilting friends stitched up lately?
  16. Wearables

  17. Clothing with a quilted element
    Show off your creations such as jackets, skirts and vests.
  18. Recycled

  19. Made from recycled fabrics or materials: any size
    Old jeans, interesting tablecloth, silk blouse, something unusual from Value Village - give something a second life and be sure to tell us what you started with.
  20. Traditional Meets Innovative

  21. A quilt that incorporates both traditional quilting techniques and innovative fabrics, designs or embellishments: any size.
    Intrigued by innovative techniques but still interested in traditional quilt blocks? Combine the two and send us your creation.
  22. Art Inspirations

  23. A quilt that interprets a work of art: any size.
    Attach photo of art piece you are interpreting. Choose your favorite piece of art, such as a painting, sculpture, stained glass window, or even a floral arrangement and translate it into a quilt.
