What I worked on over the Summer Guild members shared examples of creations that stretched their quilting skills and inspired the audience as we start a new quilting year. Velvet Challenge: Shelby provided samples of velvet and asked members to use the samples to incorporate into a quilted piece. Shelby demonstrated embossing velvet. Here is another example of how to create embossed velvet. |

So You Took a Class - What did you learn? Description: Members talk about what they learned in class they took and share samples. Preparation for March Program: Members are asked to prepare a piece of layered, basted fabric about 12 inches square in a small hoop required for the March program on hand quilting demonstration. |
